One of our Mamas says "100% they are worth it. My only regret is that I waited until I was pregnant to discover it. I had a full body length pillow that was shaped like a "J" and I would wrap myself all around it. It was so comfortable it supported my stomach later during my pregnancy and it provided much needed padding between my knees. The only negative is that it is a lot like having a third person in your bed so when you have to get up to pee, if that "person" is between you and the bathroom it can be kind of comical as you and your pregnant bump try to negotiate around the giant pillow to get out of bed. Also, i don't think my husband liked it very much since I only snuggled with my pillow and not with him and because I caused such a ruckus getting out of bed to pee (which I did about 10 times a night) that he always woke up too."
But all of the other Mamas were indifferent. Some felt that you can save your money by using your own pillows at home - putting one between your legs and holding onto the other with your arms. It is totally a matter of preference. This is one of those items that we say "borrow if you can"!
