My 19 month old son has decided he is too big for his crib, however his bed has decided it is too big for him. Yesterday I was upstairs in the kichen doing dishes. I had just put my son down for a nap and was trying to get things cleaned up for the day. To my surprise as I turned around, I saw him standing there with his blanket in hand tell me "out"! Yes, he sure did climb out. Out of his crib, out of his room and all the way up the stairs to tell me what he had done. Frantically, today I searched for the answer, only to find that what I needed is not sold in stores, just online. I needed a crib tent. I had never used one of these before, never had a need for one with my other children. Are they safe, do they work? I had searched long and hard all day on the net to find that there is one, only one brand, and 3 different kinds of tents, depending upon what type of crib you have. Tots In Mind, Cozy Crib Tent. I had to order the one for convertible cribs because my crib is different heights from the from to the back. I sure am hoping that their 2-day express mail is worth the extra price. I will update when I receive it with some pictures of this webbed creation. Anything, other than staying up all night like last night, has got to be better than this.
