...and I will be the topic of many of Mama J's posts to come!
You might have heard of me before this. I was the one in Mama J's belly, kicking her in the ribs, causing her all that back pain and whatnot. Well, here I am world!
I arrived August 14th at 4:05 AM, weighing in at 7 lbs 3 oz, and 20 inches long, after instilling a lot of pain on my mama in the delivery room (she had 2 epidurals and 4 types of medication, and nothing worked to dull the pain - but she will tell you all about that in another post) I came out to greet my parents and join the lovefest that awaited me.
So far this world is pretty awesome! I don't do much but eat, pee, poop and sleep, so I have it made. Oh and I love boobs! I latched on right away in the hospital and despite a few getting-to-know-you pains that I caused mom, things are pretty great in the feeding department (I guess she was worried for nothing!)
My family is a little crazy, but I think I will get used to them soon. My older sister doesn't want much to do with me right now, but she did kiss me on the head yesterday and give me a high five, so I think we are eventually going to be best friends - baby steps! (Pun intended - I got jokes already and I am only 6 days old!) They also love to kiss my face all the time, which I guess is kind of nice, but people give me some room to breathe here!
I think I am going to like it out here, but I am sure my mom will tell you all about every aspect of my young life - as soon as she gets the hang of this new crazy life of hers!
Nice to meet you all!
Aw! She is quite the sweetie pie! Sorry to hear about the painful delivery, but glad that she is here safe and sound and nursing well! Congrats Mama!!
