For those of you parents that like things easy and no-nonsense, this is a product for you!
At part 2 of Baby School last night, we were introduced to all sorts of swaddling products out there on the market: SwaddleMe, Sleep Sacks with swaddles, receiving blankets, etc. But the stand out product was a fairly new to the market item called the Woombie.
It is basically a tight stretchy cotton sack that you zip your baby into, which mimics the feeling of being in the womb. Unlike other swaddling products, you don't have to make your baby keep her arms at her side while wearing the Woombie. She is free to move her arms around, but is unable to bring them above her head, which is the cause of interrupted sleep.
No more worrying about getting the blanket tight enough around your baby, no more worrying about her breaking free of the velcro swaddle tabs...now she is zipped up in a cocoon of Woombie goodness!
