Get Crafty - Dinosaur Tail

The dinosaur phase is still going strong!
After stomping around in her dinosaur hoodie H asked the logical next question: "where is my tail?"


I have to say, I'm really liking this phase. Yes, she wants to watch Dinosaur Train and Land Before Time all the time, but she's also really happy just playing with her dinosaur toys or pretending to be a dinosaur. For LONG periods of time. Like, as long as an hour. I know, right?!? Cooking dinner is so much easier now!

So I was more than happy to supply a tail.

I did a Pinterest search and pretty quickly found this tutorial on Running with Scissors. This project definitely requires a sewing machine, but if you have one and know how to use it the tail only takes about 30 minutes to make. I followed the tutorial exactly so I would recommend going there if you want to make one. The only change I made was making the spikes felt so they matched her hoodie.

H was thrilled to have her dinosaur look complete and crawled and RAWR'd all over our house!
